
Youth Wrestling Clinic a Success at St. Cloud State

St Cloud, MN - The 4th Annual Husky Fall Wrestling Clinic was a success this past weekend on the campus of St. Cloud State University.
Over 50 participants, coaches, and parents were there in attendance
during the one day event on Saturday, October 31 in the Halenbeck Hall
Field House.
The clinic featured two technique sessions and a motivational session
in the sport of wrestling were taught for all clinic participants
ranging in age from first grade to 12th grade. The special guest
clinician for the day was two-time NCAA champion from the University of
Minnesota Cole Konrad. The clinic participants also had an opportunity
to watch the SCSU wrestling team practice at the end of the sessions.

“Our Fall Clinic is always a fun event to help our youth advance in the
sport of wrestling,” said Assistant Coach Chris Heilman. “We had a
great group of kids and we appreciate their support.”
St Cloud State is gearing up for its annual Black/Red Intrasquad
Classic on Sunday, November 8th in Halenbeck Hall. The Huskies are
currently rank 8th in the current preseason NCAA Division II poll. All
fans and spectators are welcome to attend the Black/Red Classic, which
will start at 2 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall.
