The National Wrestling Coaches Association has announced its annual Division I All-Academic Top 30 Teams and the NWCA Individual All-Academic wrestling team for the 2011-12 wrestling season.

Minnesota was 24th as a team on the Top 30 List with an average GPA of 3.0478.

Minnesota had three representatives named to the individual team: Chris Dardanes, Zach Sanders and Kevin Steinhaus were all honored. Sanders finished in third place (125) in his final championship appearance. Steinhaus took fifth (184) and Dardanes placed fourth (133) for the Gophers.
