Sanders named Mr. Minnesota of Wrestling

The Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association annually presents the Mr. Minnesota High School Wrestler award to the senior that best exemplifies the highest ideals of high school wrestling in Minnesota. Judging is based on past performances, citizenship, academics, leadership, and adherence to MSHSL rules.

The 2003 Mr. Minnesota Wrestler is Eric Sanders of Wabasha-Kellogg. Sanders won his fifth State title this season and ended his high school career second on the career wins list with a record of 223-27.
