Falck named Mr. Minnesota of Wrestling

The Minnesota Wrestling Coaches Association annually presents the Mr. Minnesota High School Wrestler award to the senior that best exemplifies the highest ideals of high school wrestling in Minnesota. Judging is based on past performances, citizenship, academics, leadership, and adherence to MSHSL rules.

The 2004 Mr. Minnesota Wrestler is Charlie Falck of Apple Valley. Falck won his fourth State title this season and ended with a high school career record of 205-11 (95% wins). Falck has nine State Tournament gold medals (four individual and five team), and he won every match wrestled at the State Tournament (20-0).

Falck plans to continue his wrestling career at the University of Iowa in the fall.
