Tobin finished fourth at the NSIC Championship, fifth at the Central Region Championship and tied for 47th at the NCAA Championship. Augustana was the 2011 NSIC and Central Region champion and finished tied for ninth at the NCAA Championship.

A junior from Sioux City, Iowa, Edgington was an All-America honoree in 2011 after earning seventh-place honors at 157 pounds at the NCAA Championship. He compiled a 27-9 record and was an All-NSIC second-team selection and third-place finisher at the Super Regional Three Championship. As a first-team honoree, Tobin will advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
