2011 University of Minnesota Coaches Clinic; Trio of All-Americans will be on hand

The University of Minnesota wrestling program will host a coaches clinic on Friday, Oct. 28, headlined by Oklahoma State’s 1994 All-American Nick Purler, former Bucknell Bison two-time All-American Kevin LeValley and former Golden Gopher and two-time NCAA Champion Tim Hartung.

The clinic offers professional instruction on coaching wrestling to all persons interested in the sport.

Registration for the clinic begins at Noon at the Bierman Athletic Complex, followed by a 30-minute introduction by Minnesota head coach J Robinson at 12:45. Afterward, participants will attend two separate hour-long training sessions, one by Purler at 1:15 and one by Hartung at 2:30. At 3:45, participants will have the opportunity to watch a live Minnesota wrestling team practice. The clinic wraps up with another set of two hour-long night sessions: a 6:00 session with LeValley, and a 7:15 session on technique by Purler again.

Those interested in attending the clinic can print the attached form and send it to Jayson Ness at P.O. Box 14253 Mpls., MN 55414. The registration fee is $100 ($115 if received after Oct. 25).
