A distinguished group of people from the wrestling community came together on October 1st at Augsburg College to honor and celebrate Greco-Roman wrestling history.
The event was put on by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. Rulon Gardner was recognized as the latest inductee into the Alan & Gloria Rice Greco-Roman Hall of Champions.
Also honored at the event was The Jim and Olive Morgan Family, Alan Rice, Minnesota Senior National Champions, and National High School Champions Apple Valley.
Master of Ceremonies was Dick Janckowski, wrestling historian Mike Chapman spoke about why “wrestling is cool,” and the legendary Dan Gable provided closing remarks.
