Coach Steve Knight and Vision Quest author Terry Davis will go “On the Mat” this Wednesday, November 2.
Knight is the executive director and head coach of Excel Wrestling. Knight was a Big 12 champion and NCAA All-American for Iowa State. He has been involved as a coach on many different levels.
Davis authored the book “Vision Quest” in 1979. In 1985 it became a feature film starring Matthew Modine. Davis will discuss his plans for a sequel to the original.
“On the Mat” is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at www.kcnzam.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Central on AM 1650, The Fan.
