Minnesota State Ranked No. 19

Edmonds, Okla. — The Minnesota State University wrestling team dropped to No. 19 in the first regular season edition of the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association poll. MSU, who wrestled at the UNI Open hosted by the University of Northern Iowa last weekend, were ranked No. 12 in the preseason poll.

Senior Pat Mahan is the lone Maverick represented in the rankings. The Owatonna, Minn. native is ranked No. 5 in the 197-lb weight class. Conference foe Carl Broghammer (Upper Iowa) is ranked first in the class.
