Schlueter pin seals wrestling win over Central
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf wrestling team overcame an early deficit and sealed a 24-15 win over Central College with Joe Schueter’s pin at 285 in the night’s final bout on Friday night at Skoglund Center.
The victory is the third in four days for the Oles (4-1), who are idle until January 5.
Schlueter’s win at 285, over Central’s Jacob Crawford, was one of the team’s three pins on the night. Ryan Timmerman won by fall at 1:50 at 141 while James Roach also won by fall, winning his 174-pound match at the 5:25 mark.
The Oles trailed by as many as seven — at 13-6 — before winning four of the last five to get the victory.
