Edmond, Okla. — Minnesota State is ranked No. 17 in the latest edition of the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Assocation poll. MSU earned 27 points to vault to No. 17 after previously being ranked No. 19.
Freshman Drew Lexvold was the lone Maverick to represent MSU in the national rankings. The Kenyon, Minn. native is ranked No. 8 in the 133-lb weight class. Lexvold stands at 10-5 on the year that has been highlighted by a 3-0 championship performance at the Augsburg Open on November 19.
MSU will compete on January 21 at the Ranger Duals in Kenosha, Wis.
