Fayette, Iowa — Minnesota State opened the conference dual portion of their schedule with a 24-12 loss at the hands of Upper Iowa. MSU won four matches, but two Peacock pins proved to be too much.

Following senior 157-lb Tel Todd’s first dual defeat of the season, freshman Cody Quinn answered with a 5-1 decision win over Blake Sorenson.

Upper Iowa won the next three matches, including their second fall of the night. Sophomore HWT Nate Haynes defeated Luke Stika 3-2 to close out the night.
