Two-time state champion Munos to Ohio University

Two-time state champion Joey Munos of South St. Paul has chosen to attend Ohio University and wrestle for the Bobcats following his current senior season.

Munos is a four-time state placer. He won the 125-pound Class AA state championship as a junior and the 119-pound title as a sophomore. He was fourth at 112 pounds as a freshman and fifth at 103 pounds as an eighth grader.

Munos is ranked by InterMat as the nation’s No. 81 senior recruit

He is projected to compete at 125 or 133 in college.
