Mankato, Minn. — Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference officials have announced that a pair of Mavericks have been named to the all-conference team. David Demo (125-lbs) and Cody Quinn (165-lbs) were both named to the NSIC All-Conference Second Team. This is the first all-conference selection for both Demo and Quinn.
Demo finished in seventh place at the NCAA Division II National Championship after going 3-2, garnering him All-American honors. The Bozeman, Mont. native compiled a 29-13 record and tied for the most wins on the team with Tel Todd (157-lbs). Demo qualified for the national championship by finishing in true-fourth place in Super Region #3.
Quinn finished the season with a 23-10 record and went 3-2 at the NCAA Championship. He earned All-American honors with a seventh place finish at the national tournament. Quinn went 2-2 at regionals and finished in fourth place to earn a national championship bid.
All-conference athletes earn the award by either finishing runner-up in their respective weight class at the NCAA Super Region 3 tournament or by being named an All-American at the NCAA Division II National Championship.
