Oles’ Timmerman finishes fourth at NCAA’s

La CROSSE, Wis. – St. Olaf senior Ryan Timmerman finished fourth at 141 at the NCAA Division III Championships, going 1-2 on Saturday.

Timmerman, who won his first two matches on Friday, lost his semifinal bout with top-seeded Bebeto Yewah by a major decision 15-7. Timmerman responded with a 4-0 decision over North Central’s Andrew Zobac to reach the third place match for the second time in as many seasons. He then lost a 9-2 decision to Augsburg’s Will Keeter, an opponent he defeated in the event’s quarterfinals.

Timmerman finished his college career as a two-time All-American (placing 3rd in 2011) with 115 wins.
