Tournaments to Raise Funds for College Wrestling Programs
Lake Buena Vista, Fla. – The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Wrestling Committee announced that in conjunction with USA Wrestling, there will be two wrestling tournaments this summer that will serve as fundraisers for college wrestling programs.
The first wrestling tournament, the AAU Folkstyle Ironman National Wrestling Championship, will be held on May 26, 2012, at Saint Cloud State University in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. Registration is limited to 500 wrestlers and athletes must be registered by Monday, May 21, 2012. The cost to participate is $33 per wrestler, with proceeds benefitting Saint Cloud State University.
The second event, The AAU Grand Nationals tournament, will be held June 6-9, 2012, at the Toby Roybal Memorial Gymnasium at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
