State champion Daniel Woiwor of Apple Valley will be heading to Iowa State University following his upcoming senior season.
Woiwor is a five-time state placewinner. He won the 130 pound Class AAA state championship as a freshman. He placed second at 145 pounds as a sophomore, and sixth at 182 pounds as a junior. While still in junior high, Woiwor placed sixth at State twice in Class AA while competing for Becker.
He is ranked as the 51st overall senior recruit in the nation by InterMat and is projected to wrestle at 157 or 165 pounds in college.
