MITCHELL, S.D. – Augustana had three individual champions at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on Saturday afternoon in Mitchell, S.D. TJ North took the crown at 125 pounds while Jeremiah Peterson won the 133-pound bracket and Bradyn Neises took home the title at 165 pounds.
Michael Lowman (285 pounds) picked up third-place finishes for the Vikings.
Sean Derry finished (197 pounds), Tim Weber (174 pounds) and Zach Friederich (141 pounds) each finished in fifth-place in their respective weight classes. Competing unattached for Augustana, Javier Vieyra picked up a fifth-place finish at 125 pounds.
Jacob Anderson delivered a sixth-place finish in the 149-pound bracket.
Augustana returns to action on Nov. 17 at the Holiday Inn Open in Kearney, Neb.
