100% of proceeds from sale of Olympic wrestler posters will go to help save Olympic Wrestling
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – J Robinson Intensive Camps is proud to lead the way in the fight to help save Olympic Wrestling. Posters of past Olympic wrestlers will be for sale on the J Robinson Intensive Camps website, with 100% of all proceeds going to the Keep Wrestling in the Olympics fund that is set up through USA Wrestling, the governing body of wrestling in the United States. More information about the movement can be found at www.keepwrestlingintheolympics.com.
The wrestling community was stunned when on February 12, 2013 the IOC announced that wrestling would be removed from the 2020 Olympics.
“If nothing changes, nothing changes” said J Robinson, founder of J Robinson Intensive Camps and head University of Minnesota Wrestling Coach. “We feel that we need to do something to help preserve the sport of wrestling and all that it stands for.”
Posters of Olympic wrestling greats like Dan Gable, Bruce Baumgartner, The Banachs, Lee Kemp, Bobby Douglas, and many others are for sale. Individual posters sell for $6 with all $6 going to the Keep Wrestling in the Olympics fund. Other poster packages are available for sale as well.
