North Dakota State wrestler Hayden Zillmer claimed an ASICS Greco-Roman University Nationals title over the weekend in Akron, Ohio.
Zillmer posted a 3-0 record in the 79-kilogram bracket, including a victory over former Wyoming NCAA qualifier Patrick Martinez in the best-of-three finals format.
A Crosby, Minn., native, Zillmer went 11-9 for NDSU as a redshirt freshman in the 2012-13 season, wrestling at 157 and 174 pounds.
