After 10 years without a conference, Northfield’s St. Olaf College keeps wrestling going strong

There is no lack of history to the world of wrestling. For thousands of years people have squared off in the circle and tested their physical strength in one of human’s most ancient games.

Within contemporary society it has faced challenges. The recent dropping of the sport from the 2020 Olympics is a prime example on the world stage. In a response fitting for the determination and tenacity the wrestling community is well known for though, people around the globe pushed back against the drop. In September the International Olympic Committee listened to that community and reinstated wrestling as an Olympic sport. Continue reading at
