In the second episode of “Minnesota Wrestling: Through the Lens,” senior All-Americans and twin brothers Chris and Nick Dardanes take up Gopher Wrestling alum and current administrative assistant Zach Sanders on an offer to go hunting in his hometown, which is just a short drive from Minneapolis.
The Dardanes grew up in Chicago, but they have a passion for the outdoors, whether that’s hunting, fishing, hiking or camping. One of the great aspects of the University of Minnesota campus is that it offers them the chance to live in a city, but have easy access to their favorite outdoor pastimes just minutes outside the Twin Cities.
New episodes of “Minnesota Wrestling: Through the Lens” debut every other Thursday throughout the wrestling season. The series offers family, friends and fans an unprecedented look into everything that makes the Golden Gopher wrestling program unique.
