Warrensburg, Mo. – The St. Cloud State wrestling team posted a 2-1 dual record at the University of Central Missouri Duals held Sunday in Warrensburg, Mo.
St. Cloud State posted a 40-6 win over Central Missouri, lost 22-19 to Ouachita Baptist and won 46-3 over Newman. The Huskies improved their overall dual record to 3-1 this season.
Huskies junior Tim Prescott (McPherson, Kan.), second ranked junior Clint Poster (Pierz) fifth ranked junior Gabe Fogarty (Jordan) and fourth ranked sophomore Austin Goergen (Caledonia) all posted 3-0 records on the day.
Prescott decisioned all three of his opponents, including a win over fourth ranked Garrett Evans of Ouachita. Poster won by major decision, decision and fall. Fogarty won by fall and two major decisions. Goergen had three first period falls.
The Huskies return to the mat Jan. 9-10 at the 2015 NWCA National Duals in Fort Wayne, Ind.
