ST. LOUIS — Minnesota said goodbye to a successful group of senior wrestlers Saturday and gave one an especially heartfelt send-off at the Scottrade Center.
Chris Dardanes, Logan Storley and Scott Schiller all exited with fourth-place finishes, senior Dylan Ness took sixth and sophomore Michael Kroells placed eighth as the three-day tournament wrapped up.
“It’s a great senior class,” Minnesota coach J Robinson said. “People forget what this class has done. They’ve placed second in the nationals, they’ve placed third in the nationals, they placed second again, and this year they’re eighth.
