Missouri ranked just ahead of Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio State in final rankings

NEWTON, Iowa — With this year’s NCAA Division I team race expected to be one of the closest in history, Missouri remains No. 1 in WIN’s March 9 Tournament Power Index Rankings, presented by Cliff Keen Athletic, but will be closely challenged by Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio State.

Missouri, which captured a third straight Mid-American Conference championship on Sunday, March 8, has three wrestlers — Alan Waters (125), Drake Houdashelt (149) and J’den Cox (197) ranked No. 1 and could finish with six All-Americans.
