Verkleeren, Steveson go for gold, D’Emilio, Fix for bronze at UWW Cadet Worlds

SARAJEVO, Bosnia-Herzogovina – The United States put four men’s freestyle wrestlers in medal matches, including two into the gold-medal finals, on the final day at the UWW Cadet World Championships on Sunday. Team USA went an impressive 13-4 in the morning session.

Going for gold medals will be Jarod Verkleeren of Pennsylvania at 63 kg /138.75 lbs. and Gable Steveson of Minnesota at 100 kg/220 lbs.

Going for bronze medals will be Dylan D’Emilio of Ohio at 46 kg/101.5 lbs. and Daton Fix of Oklahoma at 54 kg/119 lbs. Continue reading at www.teamusa.org
