University of Minnesota Coaches Corner – November 25, 2015

In this week’s installment of Coach’s Corner, Head Assistant Coach Brandon Eggum looks back at last Saturday’s 22-12 win over Air Force and provides a few insights on the Gopher lineup going forward.

Minnesota took six out of 10 matches from the Falcons over the weekend – decisions from Skyler Petry (125), Tommy Thorn (141) and No. 9 Michael Kroells (285), a thrilling, double-overtime win for Chris Pfarr (184), a major decision from No. 6 Brett Pfarr (197) and a big pin from Brandon Kingsley (157).

Minnesota GophersEggum also offers some thoughts on the Gopher lineup, both now and going forward. He provides a peek at the returns of both Jake Short (149) and No. 18 Nick Wanzek (174), as well as potential competitions at 157 and 165 in the weeks to come.
