Fisher Leads SJU at St. Cloud State Open

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Ten Saint John’s wrestling student-athletes competed at the St. Cloud State Open on Saturday, Dec. 12.

Junior Colin Fisher (Eagan, Minn.) posted a 1-2 record to finish fifth at heavyweight. All three of his matches were against Division I opponents. He started the tournament with a loss to Minnesota’s Nathan Rose, but bounced back with a 7-6 decision over North Dakota State’s Vincent Feola. He suffered another close loss to a SCSU wrestler, Daniel Polanco, 3-2 in the fifth-place bout.
