Nine Augustana Wrestlers ranked in Super Regional Rankings

BURNSVILLE, Minn.- Augustana University wrestling is ranked fourth in the NCAA Super Region 3 rankings in a release from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference on Tuesday. The region consists of 15 institutions including nine from the NSIC.

Maryville earned the top ranking in the poll with 67 points, St. Cloud State took second with 52 points. Lindenwood took the third spot with 26 points, followed by Augustana with 23 points. Northern State rounds out the top-five with 15 points.

Augustana VikingsFour Vikings were ranked in the top-five of their respective weight classes. TJ North (2nd, 125 lbs), Shawn Hatlestad (4th, 157), Aero Amo (2nd, 184) and Michael Lowman (2nd, 285).

The Vikings return to action this weekend after a two-week absence as they take on Northern State, Dakota Wesleyan and South Dakota State on Sunday at 12 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon.
