Highly-ranked class of 2013 starting to see the wrestling mat at NDSU

FARGO – As ratings go, North Dakota State’s 2013 wrestling recruiting class that was ranked No. 2 in the country by Amateur Wrestling News was surprising if not startling. Especially considering the usual powers like Iowa, Oklahoma State and Minnesota pretty much get their targets on a yearly basis.

NDSU? The school was still relatively new to Division I and its old conference wasn’t a power by any means.

That class is now in the middle of its third year with the Bison and it appears a few of them are starting to find the lineup. It’s a testament to the nature of Division I wrestling – you can have all the high school accolades you want, but nobody cares in the wrestling room. Continue reading at www.inforum.com
