NDSU Receives Votes in USA Today/NWCA Top 25, Three Bison Ranked

North Dakota State University wrestling received votes toward the USA Today/NWCA Coaches Poll for the third straight week, while three Bison were ranked nationally. NDSU is also No. 23 in the InterMat.com tournament rankings, tied for No. 26 by TrackWrestling, and tied for No. 27 in WIN Wrestling Magazine’s Tournament Power Index.

The Bison (1-1, 1-1 #Big12WR) wrestle at Northwestern (4-0, 0-0 Big Ten) at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, and against Indiana (2-1, 0-0 Big Ten) and at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville (0-0, 0-0 SoCon) beginning at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Dec. 4.

ndsulogoNDSU has three wrestlers ranked nationally led by 125-pound redshirt senior Josh Rodriguez (5-0 overall, 2-0 dual) is No. 5 by InterMat and Amateur Wrestling News, No. 6 by Flowrestling and WIN Magazine, and No. 7 in The Open Mat and TrackWrestling.

Clay Ream, a 157-pound redshirt junior is 5-0 overall and 2-0 in duals. Ream is listed at No. 9 by The Open Mat, No. 12 by InterMat and Flowrestling, No. 13 by TrackWrestling and No. 18 by Amateur Wrestling News.

Andrew Fogarty, a 165-pound redshirt freshman is 4-1 overall and 1-1 in duals. Fogarty is No. 19 by InterMat and The Open Mat, No. 20 by WIN Magazine and Amateur Wrestling News, and No. 24 by Track Wrestling.
