Sizzling Six: Brady Wilson, SCSU assistant wrestling coach

Brady Wilson just started his sixth season as an assistant wrestling coach for No. 1-ranked St. Cloud State University. The former Section One wrestler and Faribault graduate has helped the Huskies to NCAA Division II national championships the last two seasons, along with second-place finishes in 2012 and 2013. Wilson wrestled collegiately at Minnesota State, Mankato, where he was a four-time All-American heavyweight. He finished his career with 143 victories, which is a Mavericks record. In high school, Wilson was a state champion for the Falcons in 2005.

SCSU recently opened the season ranked No. 1 in the country. The Huskies have eight nationally ranked wrestlers, including top-ranked Austin Goergen of Caledonia.
