St. Cloud State 34 Minnesota State 12

The #1 St. Cloud State University wrestling team (14-1, 5-0 NSIC) completed a weekend sweep in NSIC competition with a 34-12 win over Minnesota State Mankato (8-4, 5-1 NSIC) on Saturday, Feb. 4 at Halenbeck Hall in St. Cloud, Minn.

The Huskies maintained their first place standing in the conference race and are looking to capture their sixth consecutive NSIC championship in 2016-17. SCSU has now won 49 consecutive NSIC dual matches and the Huskies have not lost an NSIC dual match since 2011.

St. Cloud State will continue its 2016-17 season on Feb. 9 with a road match at #19 Upper Iowa and on Feb. 11 with a 2 p.m. home date against the University of Mary.
