By the end of Jack Eustice’s freshman year his name was a practically a household word. It was 1969, the year the Janesville kid became regional wrestling champ.
In his junior year, Eustice became a three-time regional title winner and fourth-place finisher at state. He completed the ultimate high school goal in 1973, representing the Bears as the 119-pound state champ back when Minnesota wrestling had just one class.
Fast forward 41 years, four All-American finishes and a national title at Minnesota State University, Mankato and 24 years as one of the top high school coaches in Minnesota and Eustice will soon be calling himself a national Hall of Famer. Continue reading at www.southernminn.com
