BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – The U.S. pulled in a perfect 10-for-10 Greco-Roman medal haul on Friday evening at the Cadet Pan American Championships with Tommy Curran, Carson Manville, Peyton Robb and Jace Punke all taking top prize.
The Minnesota tandem of Manville and Robb were untouchable as they both cleanly navigated through the competition with dominant showings.
Manville cruised to the 58 kg/127 lbs. title with two technical falls and one pin, including an 8-0 victory over Lenin Gonzalez Palacio of Ecuador in the gold medal match.
“I just stuck to what I do best…It was a pretty good day,” Manville said. “It just helps. This is just a stepping stone to becoming a Fargo national champ. It’s exactly the same. Go out there, do you best, listen to your coach and do what you’ve been taught.” Continue reading at www.teamusa.org
