This past Saturday Rochester Community and Technical College competed at the Luther Open in Decorah, IA. This tournament brought in around 300 wrestlers from 20 teams representing NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA schools.
Leading the Yellowjackets and winning championships were Parker Huss (Jordan, MN) 133S and Shane Siewert (Lake City, MN) 174S (wrestling unattached).
“Parker has been a great addition to our program,” said Coach Randy Rager. “He is exciting to watch and very technical as a wrestler. He picked up three pins on the day and those bonus points will be huge in duals. I’m also excited to see Shane compete officially as a Yellowjacket second semester.”
