MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The St. Olaf wrestling team finished 10th at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational on Saturday.
The Oles placement was earned with 21.5 points. Central College took first with 131.5 points.
Troy Beaman earned most of the Oles’ points. He won his first match against Samuel Olson of Concordia by fall. Beaman then lost his second duel against Myron Hamilton of Millikin University by a score of 6-2. Beaman proceeded to win his next three matches by fall before falling himself to Max Gierke of Wheaton.
Frankie Lee won his first match against Mason Lind of Lakeland.
Thomas Sanner won his second dual against Dellas Vandengerg of Wisconsin-Oshkosh by a score of 12-9.
Luke Wallace won his second and third duels against Preston Adams of Central and Alec Gleason of Chicago respectively.
Next up for the Oles is a match against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday.
