Jason Elsmore has evolved.
One of the better high school wrestlers in the state in his day, the 1998 Lake City High School graduate was narrow-minded. At least when it came to girls participating in his favorite sport of wrestling.
But Elsmore’s days of thinking wrestling should be for boys only are gone.
“I grew up saying offensive things about girls who wrestled,” Elsmore said. “But girls are knocking down doors now and doing it in all phases of life.
