Brody Nielsen of Albert Lea Area has committed to wrestling for Minnesota State University Mankato next season.
Nielsen is a two-time state placewinner. He was the Class AAA 152-pound third-place finisher this season. He placed third at 138 pounds as a junior and was a state entrant at 138 pounds as a sophomore.
He ended his high school career with a record of 126-25 including 79 pins.
Nielsen is projected to wrestle at 157 or 165 pounds for the Mavericks.
