College Recruiting: two-time state champion Kennedy to Iowa

Patrick Kennedy of Kasson-Mantorville has committed to wrestling for Iowa after his upcoming junior and senior seasons.

Kennedy is a four-time state placewinner. He won the Class AA 182-pound title this season and the 170-pound title in 2017. He placed third at 145 pounds as an eighth-grader and sixth at 132 pounds as a seventh-grader.

Kennedy won the prestigious Super 32 Tournament in 2017. He is ranked No. 2 in the nation overall in the Class of 2020 by InterMat.

Kennedy is projected to wrestle at 165 or 174 pounds for the Hawkeyes.
