Kass and Nielsen earn spots on the U23 Greco-Roman World Team

Minnesota wrestlers Logan Kass and Carter Nielsen won the UWW U23 Greco-Roman World Team Trials on Friday in Akron, Ohio.

Kass, a 2015 Benilde-St. Margaret’s graduate, was a three-time state placewinner. Nielsen, also a 2015 grad, was a state champion and state runner-up for Foley.

The U23 World Championships will take place in Bucharest, Romania, in November.
