The Big Ten Network announced their live programming schedule Wednesday ahead of the start of the 2018-19 season. Minnesota will appear twice on BTN broadcasts during the regular season with both televised duals taking place at Maturi Pavilion.
The Gophers will make their debut on the Big Ten Network when they open their B1G conference schedule against Rutgers on Jan. 6, at either 12:00 p.m. or 2:15 p.m CT. Minnesota and the Scarlet Knights last met a season ago in New Jersey with the Gophers coming away with a 20-12 victory. The Gophers defeated the then No. 18 Rutgers by winning six matches in the dual, including an Ethan Lizak tech fall.
The Big Ten Championship finals, hosted by Minnesota, will also be televised by the Big Ten Network on Sunday, March 10 at 3:00 pm CT.
Catch your Gophers in action this weekend at their annual open practice at Maturi Pavilion. The event is free of charge with doors opening at 9:00 am and wrestling beginning at 10:00 a.m. The practice will include three rounds of live wrestling and will conclude with Coach Eggum addressing the crowd.
