MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team will travel to Sioux Falls, S.D., for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual against Augustana on Thursday night. The dual will begin at 7 p.m. at the Elmen Center with live video being available on msumdragons.com.
The Dragons bring a 2-5 overall record and a 2-1 conference record into the dual. They have conference wins over Northern State (25-12) and Minot State (24-13) while their lone conference loss came to No. 24 UMary on Friday night. Braydon Ortloff (157) and Mitch Kotschevar (197) each went 2-0 on the weekend for MSUM.
Sophomore Cole Jones, ranked No. 7 in the nation at 125 pounds, continues to lead the Dragons with a 19-6 record. Redshirt freshman Evan Foster is 20-12 at 184. Freshman Braydon Ortloff (16-9, 157) and redshirt freshman Mason Schulz (16-11, 141) both have 16 win. Senior Adam Blees is 12-7 at 174 while sophomore Sam Erckenbrack is 15-6 at 285.

Head coach Kris Nelson is in his 10th season as head coach of MSUM. He is assisted by Blake Bosch (second season), Justin Solberg (third season) and Tyler Lehmann (second season).
About Augustana
The Vikings are 1-1 in duals this season with no conference duals. Their win came in a 54-0 triumph over Dakota Wesleyan, while their loss came in a nonconference dual against Northern State. They have also competed in five open tournaments and one invitational tournament.

After the Augustana dual the Dragons will get a little bit of time off before returning to Alex Nemzek Hall to face Upper Iowa on Jan. 26 and St. Cloud State on Jan. 31 before traveling to Marshall, Minn. to face Southwest Minnesota State on Feb. 1.
