NDSU Drops to No. 23 in NWCA Coaches Top 25 Poll, Three Bison Nationally-Ranked

MANHEIM, Pa. – North Dakota State dropped three places from No. 20 to No. 23 in the National Wrestling Coaches Top 25 Poll released on Tuesday. The Bison were also ranked No. 34 by TrackWrestling.com with 7.5 points. In addition, three NDSU wrestlers are ranked individually by several web sites.

North Dakota State (6-3, 2-2 #Big12WR) is scheduled to host No. 21 Iowa State (2-1, 0-0 #Big12WR) in a Big 12 Conference dual in Scheels Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, and then take on No. 20 Pitt (5-0, 0-0 ACC) at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 in a non-conference dual.

NDSU 125-pounder Brent Fleetwood (15-3 overall, 7-1 duals) was ranked No. 8 by TrackWrestling.com and No. 9 by FloWrestling.org. Fleetwood was one of two Bison that went 2-0 last weekend at the South Beach Duals.

North Dakota State 133-pounder Cam Sykora (15-3, 7-1) is ranked No. 19 by TrackWrestling.com and 165 Andrew Fogarty (10-3, 7-2) is No. 21 by TrackWrestling.com.
