The Bison are tied for sixth place in the team standings. Oklahoma State is in first with 129.5 points, Iowa State is second with 92.5 and Northern Iowa is third at 62.5.

Fogarty and Ashworth then went heavy in the top position in the second and third periods with neither budging. Both wrestlers were awarded penalty points for stalling, Fogarty in the second period and Ashworth in the third.
