Fleetwood No. 2 Seed, Six Bison in Top Eight as Big 12 Pre-Seeds Released

IRVING, Texas – Pre-seeding for the 2019 Big 12 Wrestling Championship, set for March 9-10 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, was announced Monday, March 4, by the conference office. Six North Dakota State wrestlers are in the top eight in their weight classes. All seeding and brackets are subject to change.

North Dakota State 125-pound senior Brent Fleetwood (21-3 overall, 7-0 Big 12 duas) is No. 2 in his weight class, while 133 Cam Sykora and 157 Luke Weber are No. 5; 165 Andrew Fogarty and 174 Lorenzo De La Riva are No. 6, and 149 Jaden Van Maanen is No. 8. Fogarty was runner-up at 165 pounds in 2018 and sixth in 2017. Sykora was fifth at 133 pounds in 2018 and third in 2017, while Eaton was sixth at 197 pounds in 2017.
