NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Fifteenth-year head coach Sean Ahrar and the St. Olaf College wrestling team officially unveiled the team’s 2019-20 schedule on Friday with the team’s season opener less than a month away.
The schedule includes five duals and five tournaments, beginning on Saturday, Nov. 2 with a trip to the Yellow Jacket Open in Rochester, Minn. After that, the Oles will compete at the Auggie-Adidas Invitational three weeks later at Augsburg’s Si Melby Hall.
St. Olaf starts December at the MSOE Invitational in Milwaukee, Wis. on Saturday, Dec. 7 before hosting Waldorf in its first dual of the season on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at Skoglund Center.
The Oles’ 2020 slate begins with a visit to reigning national champion Augsburg on Saturday, Jan. 4. The following Friday (Jan. 10), St. Olaf takes on Concordia (Minn.) and Ridgewater in a pair of duals in Willmar, Minn.
On Saturday, Jan. 25, the Oles travel to Collegeville, Minn. for the North Country Open. St. Olaf starts February on Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Don Parker Open in Eau Claire, Wis. prior to hosting Saint John’s for a dual on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.
The NCAA Division III Upper Midwest Regional will be held at Si Melby Hall in Minneapolis on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28-29. The NCAA Division III National Championships are slated for Sunday and Monday, Mar. 8-9 at U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
