Brossard, two RCTC teammates place in top three at Dakota Wesleyan Open

MITCHELL, S.D. — Seth Brossard has carried over the momentum of a successful high school wrestling career to the college level.

The former Kenyon-Wanamingo standout — a Class A state champion last year at 152 pounds — is already a standout on the wrestling mat for Rochester Community and Technical College this year.

Brossard went 4-1 over the weekend at the Dakota Wesleyan Open to place second at 165 pounds. Brossard’s first three victories at the Dakota Wesleyan Open came by fall, then he defeated Andrew Null of Northwestern (Iowa) College 9-5 in the semifinals. In the final, he ran into Cade Mueller of Augustana (S.D.), a former Minnesota state high school champion from Waconia. Mueller emerged with a 6-2 victory. Continue reading at www.postbulletin.com
