MOORHEAD, MINN. — The Minnesota State University Moorhead wrestling team is set to host their final regular-season match of the season. The Dragons will face No. 23 ranked Minot State in a dual that was rescheduled from January to this Wednesday, Feb. 19. The dual begins at 7 p.m. at Nemzek Fieldhouse.
The Dragons (1-9, 0-7 NSIC) are coming off a 31-13 loss to UMary and a 35-9 loss against No. 2 Augsburg last week.
Sophomore Braydon Ortloff is coming off a win over No. 2 ranked Lucas Jeske of Augsburg 6-3 at 165 to improve to 8-8 on the year.
Junior Jordan Magnuson is 10-5 this season after taking a 10-5 win over Augsburg’s Tyler Kim at 285. Senior Zach Scott is 18-12 this season. Scott beat UMary’s Devin Steidler by technical fall by a 20-5 score during Thursday’s dual. Sophomore Mason Schulz is 17-14 at 141. Schulz earned a Senior Night victory over UMary’s Trevor Fauver by a 9-0 decision.
Kris Nelson is in his 11th season as head coach of the Dragons.

About Minot State
Minot State is 6-8 overall and 2-6 in the NSIC this season. The Beavers are ranked 23rd in NCAA Division II rankings. Minot State is coming off a 36-5 loss to UMary. Minot State’s Shadi Mitwalli took down UMary’s Devin Steidler 15-13 after Steidler held a 10-1 lead. Like the Dragons, this will be the final dual of the regular season before NCAA Regionals begin at the end of the month.
