Cael Swensen of Wayzata has committed to wrestling for South Dakota State University following his upcoming senior season.
Swensen is a three-time state placer winning the 138-pound Class AAA title in 2020 as a junior. He placed fifth at 120 pounds as a sophomore and fourth at 106 pounds as a freshman. Swensen had an impressive 2019-20 season record of 52-1. His current career record is 184-37 including 87 pins.
Swensen is projected to wrestle at 149 pounds for the Jackrabbits.
